Steeichquartett n°2

This quartet has the appearance of a vast arch : a single movement includes a slow and long introduction preceding a more and more lively, violent and passionate second section, that suddenly fades in front of the central part of the work, sounding like an extatic vision, fallen of another planet. The chaotic section comes back, but fades one more time , and the work returns to the climate of the opening pages. This very symmetrical structure is filled by a rich instrumental and harmonic writing.
