Music from King Arthur

The opera by Henry Purcell 'King Arthur' is one of the great works in the British history of music and sadly is not performed as often as it should be. The only brass in the original are two trumpets who in truth don't have a huge amount to play but when they are used it is to great effect as you will see from the exciting Overture. I very much wanted to complete this suite in order for all brass players to enjoy the movements that the trumpets are in and could not resist adding 'Your hay is mow'd' with siinging parts that should be sung in a slightly intoxicated manner!
